Brussels, Belgium – June 2026
CircularPSP was proudly represented at the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2026 in Brussels by project partner Energy Efficiency in Industrial Processes (EEIP), engaging with a diverse audience of policymakers, public authorities, innovators, industry representatives, and sustainability professionals from across Europe.
As one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to sustainable energy and the green transition, EUSEW provided an excellent platform to present CircularPSP’s vision for accelerating circular economy practices through innovative digital solutions and sustainable public procurement.
Bringing Circular Economy Learning to Life
A particular highlight of CircularPSP’s presence at the event was the launch of the CircularPSP Special Quiz on EnerWhizz, an interactive and gamified learning experience designed to increase awareness of circular economy principles, sustainable procurement practices, and the project’s objectives.
The quiz invited both event visitors and online participants to test their knowledge while discovering how public authorities can use digital tools and innovative procurement approaches to support the transition towards more circular and resilient communities. Participants were able to compete for rewards while learning about key sustainability concepts in an engaging and accessible format.
By combining education with gamification, the initiative demonstrated how innovative communication approaches can help make complex sustainability topics more understandable and attractive to wider audiences.
Engaging with Europe’s Sustainability Community
Throughout the week, EEIP representatives engaged in valuable discussions with stakeholders from across the European sustainability ecosystem. Conversations focused on the growing importance of circular procurement, the role of digital innovation in supporting resource efficiency, and the opportunities for cities and public authorities to accelerate their circular economy ambitions.
The event also provided an opportunity to showcase the progress and achievements of CircularPSP, highlighting how the project is developing practical solutions that support data-driven decision-making and more sustainable procurement processes across Europe.
Building Momentum for Circular Procurement
The strong interest received during EUSEW reinforced the relevance of CircularPSP’s mission and the increasing recognition of circular procurement as a key enabler of Europe’s green transition.
The positive response to the EnerWhizz quiz demonstrated the value of interactive engagement tools in raising awareness and encouraging participation among diverse stakeholder groups. As CircularPSP enters its final phase, initiatives such as these continue to play an important role in sharing project results and fostering dialogue around sustainable innovation.
CircularPSP remains committed to supporting public authorities and organisations across Europe in adopting innovative approaches that contribute to a more sustainable, resource-efficient, and circular future.
