On Thursday, February 27th, CircularPSP hosted its third Follower Event, “From Concept to Prototypes: AI-powered Platform Advancing Circularity,” in collaboration with ACR+ | Association of Cities and Regions for Sustainable Resource Management. The event was a significant milestone for CircularPSP, as it brought together thought leaders, industry experts, and innovators to explore the future of circularity through AI-powered solutions.
Event Overview
The event began with an introductory speech by Georg Vogt, setting the stage for an engaging and informative session. This was followed by a presentation from Núria Cases i Sampere, Project Manager at ACR+. ACR+ presented an overview of its organisation, along with insights into the C-prone project and the Circular Minds initiative.
Next, the focus shifted to the CircularPSP Common Challenge, where participants gained insights into the overarching challenge and its significance in the broader context of circular economy solutions. This laid the groundwork for the Phase II Suppliers to present their cutting-edge solutions.
The Suppliers from Phase II, VCG and CircularAI, then took the stage to showcase their CE-solution approaches. Representing VCG, Martin Vogrin and CircularAI, Marta Morillo, both presented their approach and key progress of their prototypes demonstrating the power of AI in driving circularity forward.
Following the Supplier presentations, the session moved to an overview of the CircularPSP Roadmap and Solution Testing, highlighting the project’s path forward and the upcoming steps in testing the solutions developed by the Suppliers.
The event provided an interactive platform for attendees to gain insights into the latest advancements in circular economy practices.
