The CircularPSP consortium convened in Dublin on 24–25 March for its fifth onsite meeting, kindly hosted by Sandyford Business District (SBD). The two-day gathering, brought together project partners, procurers, and suppliers from across Europe in a hybrid format to advance the implementation of Phase III of the project.
Over the course of the meeting, discussions focused on progressing the development of innovative circular solutions within the framework of CircularPSP. A significant highlight was the participation of the project’s suppliers, CircularAI and VCG.AI, who presented their commercialisation strategies alongside initial results from their impact evaluations. These contributions marked an important step towards ensuring the long-term sustainability and scalability of the solutions being developed.
The second day of the meeting provided an opportunity for the consortium to reflect on key insights, align on next steps, and further develop approaches to impact evaluation and implementation. The session also welcomed Patrick O’Donnell from Irish Manufacturing Research, who presented the European project CircularShift. This exchange highlighted the importance of fostering synergies between initiatives and avoiding fragmented approaches, reinforcing the value of collaboration and traceability in accelerating the circular transition.
A key takeaway from the Dublin meeting was the strength of international cooperation. By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, CircularPSP continues to demonstrate how cross-border collaboration can drive meaningful progress in circular economy innovation and public procurement.
The consortium extends its sincere thanks to Sandyford Business District for hosting this productive and engaging meeting, and to all partners, procurers, and suppliers who contributed to two days of valuable discussions and forward-looking collaboration.
