How can cities turn circular economy ambition into practical action?
This event brings together public authorities, businesses, researchers and innovation actors to explore how circular solutions, circularity platforms and AI enabled tools can support more sustainable, resilient and future ready urban systems. Through keynote insights, platform showcases and panel discussion, participants will discover how CircularAI and CircOS help cities and other stakeholders move from strategy to implementation.
The event will focus on circular economy solutions for cities, circular and sustainable districts, AI tools for organisations, and climate action and urban resilience.

Opening reflections on the purpose of the event, the importance of circular transition in cities, the CircularPSP programme, and the role of collaboration and innovation in shaping more sustainable urban futures.
14:20–14:40 Keynote speech Experiences from the Use of Circularity Platforms Francisco Ferreira, Guimarães Municipal Chamber, Portugal
A practical perspective from city level experience on working with circularity platforms, including opportunities, lessons learned and reflections on how such tools can support local transition processes.
14:40–15:30 CircularAI and CircOS showcases
The two platform teams will present their circularity solutions through introductory presentations, short videos, live demonstrations and city use cases. The session will show how CircularAI and CircOS support municipalities and other stakeholders in addressing circular economy challenges, using AI in practical ways, and turning ideas into actionable pathways.
15:30–15:50 Coffee break and networking
An opportunity for participants to connect, exchange perspectives and continue discussions informally.
15:50–16:40 Panel discussion Circularity, Sustainability and AI for Cities Moderated by TAGES
The panel will bring together speakers from different backgrounds to reflect on how cities can make use of AI and digital tools in their circular and sustainability transitions, what challenges remain in practice, and what kinds of collaboration and support are needed going forward.
