CircularPSP paper: Accepted IEEE manuscript now available

News article TD1 Addendum

We have published the accepted manuscript of our IEEE conference paper, “CircularPSP: AI-Powered Platform for Advancing Urban Circular Economy Transitions,” as open access on Zenodo. The paper documents the project’s rationale, platform concept, and early lessons from co-creation and pre-commercial procurement.

What the paper covers

The paper explains how CircularPSP is developing a public service platform that supports municipal teams—with or without prior CE expertise—in implementing circular strategies. It describes our PCP approach and the integration of LLM-based services trained on a curated circular-economy taxonomy with multilingual, contextual support for cities.

Where it was presented

The paper was accepted for and presented at the 21st IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing in Smart Systems and the Internet of Things (DCOSS-IoT), held in Lucca, Italy. The Zenodo record hosts the accepted manuscript (AM) version; the Version of Record is available via IEEE Xplore.

Why this matters for cities

The paper sets out how the platform helps local governments search proven CE case studies in their language and context, plan and track circular missions, and streamline procurement with built-in checks for circular criteria, lowering barriers for day-to-day implementation.

Explore the manuscript on Zenodo and let us know your feedback: we’re actively incorporating reviewer and community input as CircularPSP moves toward public testing.
